What You Don't Want to Hear.

A raw, chronological pseudo-diary across a journey of seven years. Written to confront you, not comfort you.

Inspired by events across a challenging marriage and divorce, a nomadic life and the long work of growing through it all, it offers insight into the challenges we all share on the path — and how to move through them.

Foreword

What's stopping you?

In the first chapter of What You Don’t Want to Hear, I pose the question, “What’s Stopping You?” I will proceed to drop multiple offerings thereafter. Highlighting the different obstacles, reminders, and challenges I had come to face from 38 to 45 years old on which the book is based. Each chapter is inspired by moment(s) in a location where an experience took place or a lesson was finally realized. In either moment — I wrote my piece, took a photo and would present the offering to you, the receiver, as an insight into the parallels of shared challenges we all face along the path.

I highlight three relationships throughout this book. The first was my marriage and the traumas it birthed or rekindled. The second feels to be my most important exposure to sharing the heart-space and how I didn’t learn one fuckin’ thing on how to navigate my emotions or support my partner. And the third is a tricky one because it was a relationship in sheep’s clothing. It turned out to be my greatest teacher, greatest breakthrough and my partner, in hindsight, was simply a figure brought by the universe to keep me accountable…

For you if you're ready.

Ready for the words you've avoided hearing, at your own pace.
